CVBC Matthew 6:11 "Daily Bread"

 This sermon explored Jesus' instruction to pray "Give us this day our daily bread," revealing that this petition is far more than a request for physical food. It's an acknowledgment of our absolute dependence on God's providence in every area of life. Whether we have much or little, whether our storehouses are full or empty, we remain moment-by-moment dependent on our Creator's care. This prayer teaches us humility, trust, and the beautiful reality that everything we have is a gift from God's hand. Even when our prayers seem unanswered or God says "no" (as He did when Jesus asked for the cup to pass), His character remains unchanging, His love unwavering, and His providence continues to work all things for the good of His church.
