CVBC Revelation 3:14-22

This sermon explored Revelation 3:14-22, the letter Jesus sent to the church of Laodicea -- the last and most sobering of the seven letters to the churches of Asia Minor. Unlike the other letters, this one contains no words of commendation. Jesus confronts a church that had grown wealthy, self-sufficient, and spiritually indifferent. The message challenged us to hold Carson Valley Bible Church up alongside Laodicea and honestly examine where we stand -- in our passion for Christ, our perception of ourselves, and our willingness to open the door to the Lord's presence and leading.
