CVBC 1 Peter 2:9-10 "How We Worship Week 2"

Week 2 of our series on "How We Worship" as a church. This sermon explored 1 Peter 2:9-10, reminding us that we are "a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation" called to proclaim God's excellencies. We examined how worship begins not with our initiative, but with God's calling—He moves first in our salvation and continues to call us each Sunday to turn our eyes away from ourselves and toward Him. In a world of constant noise, individualism, and distraction, the gathered church provides a sacred space where we breathe the fresh air of God's Word and remember that worship is about adoring Him, not meeting our own preferences.
