CVBC 2 Timothy 3:14-4:4 "Proclamation"

This sermon explored the God-designed role of preaching in the life of the gathered church, drawing primarily from 2 Timothy 3:14 through 4:4. Pastor Luke walked us through Paul's final charge to Timothy -- to preach the Word faithfully, in season and out of season -- and unpacked why the proclamation of Scripture is not merely a tradition or routine, but a Spirit-empowered means by which God brings people to salvation and grows believers in their faith. From the breathed-out nature of all Scripture, to the sobering warning against itching ears and the drift toward comfortable teaching, the sermon called us to value, protect, and remain committed to the faithful proclamation of God's Word as a church.
