CVBC Isaiah 65:17-25
This sermon took us to Isaiah 65:17-25, where we explored the breathtaking promise of the new heavens and new earth. While we live in a world marked by the slime of the serpent—broken by sin, filled with tears, disease, and death—God has promised to create something entirely new. This isn't just a renovation of our current world; it's a complete re-creation where righteousness dwells, where former sorrows won't even come to mind, and where we'll experience unending joy in God's presence. Understanding this future reality isn't escapism—it's actually essential for living faithfully in the present. When we know what's coming, we can endure what's here, holding our current joys and sorrows with proper perspective, knowing this world is not our home.
